One person died overnight in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 41 in Dodge County. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt said it happened just before midnight near State Trunk Highway 28 in the township of Lomira. A silver Ford pickup truck was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-41 when it collided with a Peterbilt semi traveling southbound in the right lane. According to officials, the driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. Flight for Life flew the semi driver, who suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, to a hospital, the sheriff said in the release. The names of both drivers are being withheld at this time. Neither driver had any passengers in their vehicles at the time of the crash, according to deputies.
