Mother Of Teen Who Died While Fasting Sentenced To 3 Years In Prison

A Sauk County Circuit Court judge has sentenced the mother of a 15-year-old boy who died by fasting to three years in prison.  Titilayno Omosebi expressed remorse before the sentencing.  The victim’s 11-year-old brother was also emaciated at the time, he was treated at a local hospital and is now living with a foster family.  The father told police he is a minister with Cornerstone Reformation Ministries and the fasting was associated with the family’s religion.  He goes on trial next.
