WSJY-WFAW Engineer To Be Inducted Into Broadcasting Hall Of Fame

The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association announced today its Hall of Fame inductees for 2019. The first on the list is Engineer Clif Groth. Clif started his 60 year career at WTTN when has was a student at Watertown High School. On graduation he started his own business, Broadcast Electronic Service, which was later sold to Goetz Broadcasting. He was instrumental in the development of the Goetz Farm Radio Network and the statewide Marathon Sports. He was chief Engineer at WFAW, WSJY, and WKCH for many years and still does consulting work for the stations.
