17 Wisconsin Counties Included In Federal Major Disaster Declaration

A major disaster declaration for 17 Wisconsin counties means local governments impacted by severe storms last month can apply for federal recovery assistance.  Governor Tony Evers had requested the declaration last week.  Crews have assessed damages from the storms at more than 19-and-a-half-million dollars from severe thunderstorms, tornadoes and flooding.  The Menominee Indian Tribe and St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin were included.
