Palmyra-Eagle School District Not Allowed To Dissolve

The School District Boundry Appeals Board has denied the proposal to dissolve the Palmyra-Eagle Area School District. State law dictated the criteria for the decision and the makeup of the board, which included six locally elected school board members from around the state and a designee from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. State Superintendent Carolyn Stanford Taylor said in a statement, she supported the decision.
