For most of us, we’ve now been self-quarantining for almost 2 months now. While I’ve enjoyed the extra time spent at home with my family, I am really starting to get the itch to go out and do things. But what can you really do while things are still shut down and your family has decided to continue quarantining?
My parents have no problem with any of us leaving the house, though they prefer we don’t go somewhere with a big crowd. So, as I sit cooped up in my house, I decided to look at what State Parks are open.
One of the best things that has come from the COVID-19 outbreak is how much more time I’m spending outside. Plus, outside you’re able to maintain proper social distancing!
For a while, a lot of the State Parks were closed, but they’ve since reopened! They do have modified hours of being open from 6 A.M. – 7 P.M. and being closed on Wednesday’s, so keep that in mind when planning an outing!
