The family of an 11-year-old Madison girl who was shot in the head Tuesday made the difficult decision to remove her from life support, this morning.
The family’s announcement came just hours after Black leaders in Madison issued a plea for an end to escalating gun violence in the city.
Anisa Scott, the 11-year-old Madison girl who was shot in the head Tuesday when a car she was riding in was hit bullets, has been taken off life support (at 11:11 AM Thursday). Her parents were outside American Family Children’s Hospital Wednesday night
Madison police haven’t made any arrests yet. Anisa’s death amid a record increase of shots fired incidents in Madison this summer.
