Packers Outscore Minnesota in 2020 Season Opener 43-34

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers taught Minnesota’s youthful cornerbacks some lessons in a 43-34 decision Sunday afternoon to open the 2020 NFL season.  Rodgers connected on 32-of-44 passes for 364 yards and four touchdowns.

Wide receiver Davante Adams caught two of the scoring passes and tied a franchise record with 14 receptions.  Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Allen Lazard also were on the receiving end of T-D passes and Aaron Jones rushed for 66 yards and a score.  Green Bay cornerback Jaire Alexander recorded a safety in the second period and picked off a pass.

The Packers host the Detroit Lions next Sunday at noon in the home opener at Lambeau Field.
