Dane County prosecutors are charging a Cambridge man with homicide by drunken driving. Authorities say 27-year-old Lonzo Simmons crashed his vehicle while trying to get away from a traffic stop last June in Sun Prairie.
The accident took the lives of two passengers and critically injured a third.
Following the crash, Simmons’ blood-alcohol content was measured at point-21, more than two-and-a-half times the legal limit. He is charged with causing the deaths of 28-year-old Kara Cloud of Madison and 27-year-old Clinton Harvey of Sun Prairie.
